Rather than giving general instructions on smaller tasks and then devoting time to supervising larger concerns, the micromanager monitors and assesses every step of a business process and avoids delegation of decisions.[6] Micromanagers are usually irritated when a subordinate makes decisions without consulting them, even if the decisions are within the subordinate's level of authority.
Micromanagement also frequently involves requests for unnecessary and overly detailed reports ("reportomania"). This focus on "low-level" trivia often delays decisions, clouds overall goals and objectives, restricts the flow of information between employees, and guides the various aspects of a project in different and often opposed directions. Many micromanagers accept such inefficiencies as less important than their retention of control or of the appearance of control.
Managers or Bosses always keep you on edge and in fear of losing your job if you don't listen. Once this abuse persists you lose confidence in yourself, you start taking orders only, you lose control of your life. They are thinking about is the money in their pocket not the negative outcome of their actions in someone else's life! The control goes much deeper once they start attacking your feelings, and your freedom. At the end of the day you worked to make someone else rich in the expense of your precious hours of your life! Corporate America has changed since 1950's you just can't climb up as fast as you think to the CEO position. What's the point of working at a dead-end job ? What are you sacrificing for a measly few bucks? Some people work all their lives in corporate jobs and never accomplish anything except making someone else rich! Every single person was born to live with purpose and make an impact in the world! Didn't you have a dream when you were a kid? Why not pursue it? The Key to Happiness and a Fulfilled life is to Do what you Love to do and Make a living at the same Time. It's true what they say when you love what you do, its not work anymore. Grant yourself Freedom, a spiritual awakening and start living for a purpose! You are the number one person in your life!
